When the world comes up against you its easy to slip into that black place, the important thing is not to beat ourselves up about that, God doesn't get mad because we are blue, actually Jesus experiences our pain with us, that's the reality of the Lamb slain from the world's foundation, but what gets heaven singing is when we choose to believe, or at least cry out 'help my unbelief', that pleases God, while its true its 'impossible to please God without faith' turn that around and its equally true 'with faith we please God', God is chuffed to bits because we believe, because we hope, and trust.
And God's happiness is something which we share, thats joy with benefits...
